Mr. Cajiao holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Costa Rica, where he is native from. In 2019 he obtained his master’s degree in business administration (MBA) at Vlerick Business School in Brussels.
Mr. Cajiao counts with 15 years of professional experience in different sectors and regions, of which 8 have been focusing on additive manufacturing and its implementation in different sectors, ranging from a variety of industrial applications to contract manufacturing of medical devices, specifically standard orthopedic titanium spine and hip prosthesis, among others.
Mr. Cajiao is based in Leuven, Belgium, at Materialise’s headquarters. He is currently responsible for the commercial activities of Mindware, the consulting services unit of Materialise.
