\r\n\r\nWe’ve been hearing about it for years, both because of the technological revolution it represents and the typical fears it arouses among those who don’t understand it. But after several years in which it seemed like it wasn’t going to arrive, it seems that 5G will definitely begin to take its first steps in 2019, and both operators and mobile phone manufacturers (Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, and LG, among others) are making their first announcements related to its implementation.\r\n\r\nHowever, there are still those who don’t fully understand what 5G is all about, not even some presidents of major powers. Therefore, we’re going to explain exactly what 5G is, what promises this new standard brings to the industry, and how it differs from the current 4G LTE network.\r\n\r\nWhat is 5G?\r\n\r\n5G is the fifth generation of wireless communication technologies and standards, the Internet used by devices like your mobile phone to allow you to connect to the Internet anywhere. Therefore, you don’t have to think of this term as something new, as it is simply a development or evolution of the current 4G\/LTE.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
