El 17 de mayo se celebra el d\u00eda mundial del reciclaje con el fin de concienciar sobre la importancia de proteger el medio tratando los residuos de forma correcta. Bajo este marco se inaugur\u00f3 el pasado 8 de mayo \u201cThe Plastic Museum<\/a>\u201d, una iniciativa llevada a cabo en Madrid por EsPl\u00e1sticos<\/a> que consiste en un museo construido \u00edntegramente con pl\u00e1stico, cuyo prop\u00f3sito es desaparecer reciclando sus materiales para darles una nueva vida.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00bfY SI EL PROBLEMA NO SON LOS PL\u00c1STICOS?<\/h4>\n

Parecemos entender que los pl\u00e1sticos son la causa de una gran parte de los residuos que hoy en d\u00eda inundan nuestro ecosistema, da\u00f1\u00e1ndolo y alterando el medio ambiente. Pero\u2026 \u00bfY si realmente no tenemos el enfoque correcto? Los pl\u00e1sticos \u201ccontaminan\u201d el medio dado que los acumulamos y tardan a\u00f1os en biodegradarse (si es que lo hacen), pero pensemos por un momento en un material duradero, seguro, org\u00e1nico y sobre todo reciclable \u00bfNo parece tan mala idea no?<\/p>\n

Precisamente teniendo en cuenta que no todos los pl\u00e1sticos son iguales, ni todos tienen las mismas propiedades The Plastic Museum pretende visibilizar y desmontar mitos sobre este materia<\/strong>l, reivindicando la importancia de la educaci\u00f3n y la concienciaci\u00f3n<\/strong> como claves del comportamiento responsable reducir los residuos pl\u00e1sticos de nuestro planeta.<\/strong><\/p>\n

PL\u00c1STICOS POR TODAS PARTES<\/h4>\n

Una mano bi\u00f3nica, un bodeg\u00f3n, una impresora 3D o una bicicleta hechos con pl\u00e1stico son algunas de las piezas que se pueden ver dentro del museo y que dan voz a la innovaci\u00f3n, los avances y la importancia que ha cobrado el uso del pl\u00e1stico en sectores tan dispares como la medicina, el textil, componentes para la construcci\u00f3n, la maquinaria, las telecomunicaciones, la alimentaci\u00f3n, la moda, la agricultura, la seguridad, el deporte, la movilidad, el transporte o el arte.<\/p>\n

LA CLAVE EST\u00c1 EN LA EDUCACI\u00d3N<\/h4>\n

The Plastic Museum comparte la premisa de demostrar el valor de este material cuando se act\u00faa de forma correcta, tratando de dejar patente sus beneficios, destruyendo falsas creencias sobre el mismo y poniendo el acento en la concienciaci\u00f3n de empresas y consumidores como la llave para vivir en armon\u00eda, y no su prohibici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El mismo d\u00eda mundial del reciclaje esta exposici\u00f3n ubicada frente al Museo Reina Sof\u00eda cerrar\u00e1 sus puertas para siempre, desmontando toda su estructura para ser reciclada y reutilizada, entre otras cosas para fabricar los primeros souvenirs de un museo espa\u00f1ol hechos con componentes del propio museo.<\/p>\n
