One of the key points to keep in mind when cutting metal is, without a doubt, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Without the proper equipment, we shouldn’t begin our work.<\/p>\n

\nHearing protection<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Another important point is the proper securing of the workpiece. This can prevent breakage of the cutting discs, the material being cut, and serious injuries to our own bodies. Ideally, we should secure the workpiece as close as possible to the area where we will be cutting, thus also avoiding vibrations in the material.<\/p>\n

Any movement of the workpiece can cause breakage of the disc or a workplace accident.
\nThe third point we must not forget is the machinery itself, which we are using to carry out our work. This is not only to get the most out of our cutting discs, but also to avoid workplace accidents.<\/p>\n

Although our work routine sometimes “requires” it, we should never use a cutting disc for grinding. The former are not designed to withstand the lateral pressure required for grinding work.
\nAlways check the maximum allowable speed indicated on the disc and compare it with the speed provided by the machine.
\nEnsure that the machine is unplugged when securing the disc.
\nThe machine must always have its own protective equipment. Never operate without it.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
