Sergio holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and an Executive MBA from EADA. He specialized in international business management at the universities of Stellenbosch (South Africa) and SDA Bocconi (Italy). He has spent most of his professional career in the field of robotics and industrial automation at ABB, where, since 1999, he has held management and executive roles in support services, engineering, marketing, and sales. He is currently the Director of the Robotics and Discrete Automation business for Spain and Portugal. He is a member of the board of directors of AER-ATP (Spanish Association of Robotics and Automation of Production Technologies), the Catalan Packaging Cluster, and the Robotics Working Group of the School of Industrial Engineers of Catalonia.
