About us

Airpress is a European brand specialising in compressed air technology, with a history dating back to 1956. The company was founded in the Netherlands, when Doeke de Vries and his father, Harmen de Vries, developed their first piston compressor. The success of this machine led to the production of the K Series and marked the beginning of a brand that, over more than six decades, has grown into a recognised name within the European compressed air industry.

Airpress is therefore not a recently established brand, but a company with extensive industrial experience, a consolidated presence in numerous European markets and a broad network of specialised distributors and partners. Its growth has been driven by technical expertise, innovation, product availability and a continuous focus on the real requirements of professionals, workshops and industrial companies.

Today, Airpress provides complete solutions for the generation, treatment, storage and distribution of compressed air. Its product portfolio includes fixed-speed and variable-speed screw compressors, piston compressors, refrigerated and adsorption dryers, compressed air receivers, filtration systems, condensate separators, aluminium piping systems, pneumatic tools, spare parts, consumables and workshop equipment.

Technological development has been a constant throughout the company’s history. Since introducing its first screw compressors, Airpress has developed successive generations of equipment focused on improving energy efficiency, reliability and the control of compressed air systems.

The current industrial range includes fixed-speed and variable-speed screw compressors, available as standalone units or as complete solutions incorporating air receivers, dryers and air treatment systems. These solutions integrate advanced drive, control and monitoring technologies to adapt compressed air production to the actual requirements of each installation, reduce energy consumption and simplify maintenance.

Airpress has a strong European logistics infrastructure, supported by warehousing and distribution centres located in the Netherlands and Poland. This structure enables the company to maintain high availability of equipment, spare parts and consumables, while providing competitive delivery times across its European markets.

In Spain, Airpress provides technical and commercial advice, equipment supply, support with system selection and sizing, and after-sales service. Our objective is to assist customers throughout the complete life cycle of their compressed air system: from the initial assessment of their requirements to commissioning, maintenance and system optimisation.

Airpress solutions are used across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, automotive, metalworking, industrial maintenance, construction, woodworking, agriculture, painting and surface treatment.

Each project is assessed according to factors such as actual air demand, operating pressure, required air quality, continuity of service, future expansion requirements and energy consumption.
