WE ARE WELDING – for almost 70 years, this motto has stood for innovation, quality and a passion for joining technology at EWM. Founded in the Westerwald in 1957, EWM has developed from a family-run business into a leading international full-service provider of arc welding technology – with over 400 sales and service centres worldwide.
EWM develops and manufactures sustainable, comprehensive solutions “made in Germany” for industry, SMEs and the skilled trades. The portfolio includes high-performance, smart welding power sources, high-quality welding torches for manual and automated applications, and comprehensive system components for networked manufacturing environments in line with Industry 4.0.
EWM’s patented welding processes boost productivity and cost-effectiveness whilst reducing energy and material consumption as well as welding fume emissions by up to 75 per cent. The range is complemented by comprehensive consultancy, service and training services.
Since 2025, EWM has been part of ESAB Corporation, a leading global provider of welding and cutting solutions. The s strengthens the international presence, expands technological synergies and opens up additional innovation and service potential for customers.
