Eurecat is one of the most important applied research and technology transfer organizations in Southern Europe.
It has advanced technical capabilities to support companies in the development of new products from the initial conceptualization phase to industrialization. This includes functional prototyping, short series, and technological support in the final manufacturing phase.
Thanks to its multidisciplinary approach, Eurecat works closely with innovation teams to transform ideas into tangible solutions, providing expertise in industrial design, structural simulation through the application of digital twins, materials selection, and functional validation through testing. This integration of knowledge accelerates the development process, reduces risks, and ensures that the product meets technical and market requirements.
Furthermore, Eurecat has extensive knowledge and experience in the development and processing of plastics, composites, light alloys, metals, and even textiles, allowing it to adapt to very diverse sectors (aeronautics, automotive, medical, and construction, among others). Its ability to manufacture prototypes and pre-series productions with advanced technologies facilitates early product validation and preparation for industrialization. As examples of advanced manufacturing technologies and collaboration with companies, Eurecat will present several demonstrators at the fair that demonstrate Eurecat's high capacity for innovation:
• ToolChanger: A new printer that combines additive manufacturing by extrusion of plastics (FFF) and machining based on E3D's innovative Tool Changer architecture.
• Ion Implantation: Technology for modifying surface properties in metals by accelerating targeted ions into the material at a nanometer scale.
Two research projects will be presented: BIOIMPLANT, in collaboration with MICRODENT Implant System, for the development of an innovative range of dental implants based on new designs and advanced antibacterial surface treatments to improve biomechanical response. Titanium alloy implants and bactericidal surface treatment based on silver ion implantation.
EQUIIDENTAL Development of advanced surface treatment equipment for the functional improvement of dental implant components. Low-cost, simple, flexible, and modular surface treatment equipment aimed at manufacturers of dental implants and surgical instruments. In collaboration with the Instituto Químico de Sarrià (IQS), Microdent Implant System, and Flubetech.
• New generation of biobased vitrimeric resins for the development of structural composites with high self-healing, reshaping, and recycling capacity.
• HIDROGENIA. A project that drives the future of hydrogen in aerospace with an innovative 700 bar Type IV tank. Eurecat and Sofitec merge advanced materials and simulation to ensure top safety and performance. A step forward in sustainable mobility.
• SeaSpore is a Bluewave Alliance initiative that unites art, technology, and engineering with an environmental purpose: regenerating the seabed. The project, led and executed by Eurecat through a collaboration with Ocean Ecostructures, focuses on the development of a biomimetic microreef inspired by a work of art.
• Atompowder. Manufacturing of metal powder using centrifugal atomization technology. This technology enables on-demand metal powder manufacturing and batch manufacturing for powder metallurgy, thermal spraying, and additive manufacturing applications.
• ISF (Incremental Sheet Forming) technology for the production of prototypes and short runs of complex metal parts. This mature technology at Eurecat, with over 20 years of experience, has allowed us to develop expertise not only in part development but also in the design and development of optimized machines.

Desarrollo y formulación de VITRIMEROS BIOBASADOS
Diseño y formulación de vitrimeros biobasados para uso como resina en adhesivos o desarrollo de composites estructurales. Estos materiales tienen la capacidad de poder ser reprocesados, autorepararse e incluso, reciclarse gracias a su naturaleza vitrimerica. Desde Eurecat colaboramos con las empresas en el desarrollo de vitrímeros a medida de las solicitaciones técnicas de la pieza a desarrollar.

ATOMPOWDER. Fabricación de polvo metálico con tecnología de atomización centrífuga
Fabricación de polvo metálico bajo demanda y la fabricación de lotes de polvo metálico para aplicaciones de pulvimetalúrgia, proyección térmica o fabricación aditiva, mediante la tecnología de atomización centrífuga. Posibilidad de fabricar lotes de hasta 1kg de polvo con composición química ajustada bajo demanda de aleaciones de Sn, Zn, Al y Cu, con granulometría 75 - 150 μm y morfología esférica, para estudios de desarrollo de aleaciones, composición química o reciclaje.

IMPLANTACIÓN IÓNICA de metales
La implantación iónica de metales es una tecnología de vanguardia para modificar las propiedades superficiales de metales, plásticos y compuestos. Al acelerar iones objetivo (por ejemplo, metales, C, Si) hacia el interior del material a profundidades nanométricas, mejora significativamente la dureza, la resistencia al desgaste, la resistencia a la corrosión y otras características funcionales. Este proceso permite la creación de materiales avanzados con propiedades superficiales a medida para aplicaciones de alta tecnología. Primer y único proveedor de tecnología de implantación iónica MEVVA en España. Aporta experiencia en recubrimientos y tratamiento superficial de materiales. Reactores de PVD (deposición física en fase de vapor) a escala de laboratorio y semi-industrial. Nuevo equipo de implantación iónica MEVVA instalado. Este equipo permite implantar iones metálicos hasta energías de aceleración de 50 kV.

ISF.Incremental Sheet Forming para la fabricación de pieza metálica compleja

TOOLCHANGER. Impresión 3D y mecanizado en una única máquina
Una nuava impresora que combina la fabricación aditiva de Fusión de Filamento Extrusido (FFF) y el mecanizado, basada en la innovadora impresora Tool changer de E3D. El sistema integra la tecnología FFF y sustractiva dentro de un único flujo de trabajo. Además, pueden incluirse otros cabezales para el uso de pastas, siliconas o tintas. Impresora ideal para una amplia gama de aplicaciones donde el acabado superficial y la precisión de la tecnología de impresión 3D FFF resulta insuficiente, incluyendo: -Fabricación de componentes personalizados para la industria química. -Creación de moldes y herramientas para producción. -Desarrollo de productos multimateriales para la I+D. -Producción de piezas funcionales para ingeniería y fabricación.
