The JACOB magnetic separator
The JACOB magnetic separator extracts ferrous contaminants quickly and easily from free-flowing bulk materials and exhaust air with low conveying pressure. It can be applied in any industry where ferrous metal needs to be separated from the product flow. One such application is when downstream machinery needs to be protected, for example in plant engineering or in the plastics industry. Another application is the safe production of food products such as flour or sugar. • Strong magnets – up to nine neodymium tubes separate even the smallest ferrous particles from bulk and exhaust air. Max. magnetic induction (G) – on the surface of tube (+ / -10 %): 10,000 Gauss. • Compact and robust – consisting of multiple magnetic tubes that are protected by a stainless-steel cover, a T-piece and a pull-ring connection with a detectable design seal. • Easy to clean – pull the separator from the pipework system, remove the magnets from the cover, and all ferrous pieces and particles will simply fall off the cover surface. • Increased food safety – combine the magnetic separator with sealings from the JACOB DETECTABLE DESIGN line.

PERFECTThe patented horizontal cyclone from JACOB fits into almost every pipe system. Its design makes it easy to integrate with straight pipes. This makes it the first choice when retrofitting a cyclone. BFM + JACOB THE PERFEKT UNION
BFM Compensator The BFM compensator consists of a connector and two sleeves. Components must be ordered individually. Recommendation for static applications and slight vibrations: A (distance between the sleeves) the length L of the connector is ideal -10 mm Available diameter 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400mm Interconnections 83mm long with 6mm flanged edge for clamping ring connections, 304L stainless steel wall thickness DN 100 mm: 1.5 mm, DN 150 mm and larger: 2 mm Pipe connections Seeflex 040E, ether-based thermoplastic polyurethane coating, wall thickness: 0.9 mm Other lengths, diameters and materials available upon request. The BFM® compensator is available to damp vibrations and oscillations in piping systems and to decouple individual parts of a system from each other. To achieve the best possible performance, JACOB and BFM® have combined their respective systems into a single product: the BFM® sleeve is now available from JACOB with a 6mm flanged edge. In this way, the BFM® modular compensator, consisting of two sleeves and a connector, can be optimally combined with the proven JACOB tension ring system. The connector is made of particularly durable polyurethane and can be installed without tools. In general, the BFM® system can be integrated into a modular piping system without the need for welding work. The BFM connection system, like the JACOB FOOD GRADE range, meets the requirements of the FDA and CE 1935/2004. FOOD GRADE: CE 1935/2004 plus FDA. In addition, the special design of the compensator prevents corners where food can get trapped. Temperature resistance: -25 to 110°C Each expansion joint consists of two sleeves and a connector. There are 3 types of materials and finishes: Carbon steel painted in standard Ral 7032 from 1 to 3 mm thick thickness, hot-dip galvanized iron from 1 to 3 mm, 304 stainless steel 1 to 2 mm thick or thin demand in 316 stainless, also from 1 to 2 mm thickness. When it comes to food, pharmaceutical and other sensitive materials higher standards are necessary high levels of security, certification and traceability. Jacob faces this challenge with the self-developed food line. The gamma JACOB FOOD GRADE is the first modular system to combine the requirements of EC 1935/2004 and the FDA. In the JACOB DETECTABLE DESIGN series, all the materials of seals that come into contact with the product are detectable with regular metal detectors. TOUGH PERFORMERS – DURABLE DESIGN MODULAR WEAR PROTECTION
A broad spectrum of applications in industry and agriculture causes high wear in pipework systems. In view of this, we have developed the new modular wear protection range: DURABLE DESIGN. The wear protection is glued or bolted in the standard range and consists of a polyurethane base. The materials differ in their various properties. The products are combined with our modular pipework system. In the standard range, we offer diameters DN 150 to 350 mm with bolted wear protection and diameters DN 100 to 350 mm with glued wear protection. Diameters larger than DN 350 mm are generally available on request. Polyurethane offers the advantage that it has a flexible yet wear-resistant structure. The impact energy, particularly from deflection, is therefore absorbed as a result and thus extends the lifetime.DURABLE DESIGN is frequently used in industry, e.g. for conveying cement, lime, sand, grit, concrete or mineral wool, and in agriculture, e.g. for conveying grain, soya, maize or barley.
MULTI WAY DISTRIBUTOR
JACOB multi-way distributors are the compact solution for transporting bulk goods to many machines or silos during the production process. In order to meet different requirements, JACOB has various multi-way distributors with up to 2 x 20 outlets as standard in its range.
SILENCER
Considerable noise development cannot be avoided in pipelines. So that you can teach your production systems to whisper if necessary, we offer silencers with JACOB-compatible elements in our standard range. The silencers are available in lengths of 500, 1000 and 1500 mm in diameters from 80 to 630 mm. They are manufactured in various materials with a wall thickness of 2 mm. The ends are flanged and are alternatively offered with a loose flange connection from a diameter of 350 mm. The internal sound absorption material consists of non-combustible mineral wool with a glass fleece cover. As part of JACOB's modular pipe system, the silencers can be easily dismantled and assembled for cleaning or replacing the mineral wool. We are happy to implement individual customer requests for you. If you wish, we can support you in selecting the appropriate construction variant and the correct dimensions of your sound insulation.
