BRALO certifies its Carbon Footprint under the GHG Protocol standard

BRALO certifies its Carbon Footprint under the GHG Protocol standard

BRALO advances its commitment to a more sustainable industry with the certification of its Carbon Footprint for Scopes 1 and 2, corresponding to the 2025 fiscal year. BRALO, SA has obtained certification of its Carbon Footprint in accordance with the requirements of the GHG Protocol, following verification carried out by Cámara Certifica at its facilities in Pinto (Madrid). The calculation corresponds to the period between January 1 and December 31, 2025, and includes emissions associated with the company's Scopes 1 and 2. The certified result establishes total emissions of 757.45 tons of CO₂ equivalent (tCO₂e). This represents a reduction in emissions compared to the previous year. During 2025, BRALO recorded a decrease of 88.99 tCO₂e, equivalent to 10.5% fewer emissions compared to 2024. This process represents a further step in BRALO's strategy to understand, measure, and manage the environmental impact associated with its manufacturing operations for blind rivets, rivet nuts, and metal fastening systems, an activity included within the scope of the certification. Measuring to move forward: Carbon Footprint certification allows BRALO to have a quantified benchmark for its emissions and establish a basis for identifying opportunities for improvement and continuing to optimize its production processes. In this context, BRALO has been developing various initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental impact. Among these, the installation of solar panels on the roof of its facilities stands out, enabling the generation and self-consumption of renewable energy, thus contributing to reducing the impact associated with electricity consumption. The certification, issued on September 2, 2026 with number HC.0103.24, represents a new step forward in BRALO's journey towards more efficient manufacturing and continuous improvement.
