Valencian company CMA Machine Tools has developed the BRX model, a solution that integrates machining and cutting to optimise the production of metal structures for industrialised construction.
The machine features three machining heads capable of machining all three sides of a beam simultaneously, eliminating repositioning and reducing manual intervention throughout the process. The raw beam enters the machine and comes out fully finished, maintaining precision and repeatability even in large production batches.
Thanks to this technology, specialist workshops can manufacture metal structures for five-storey buildings that can subsequently be erected on site in as little as 16 weeks.
The BRX also incorporates proprietary software with an intuitive interface and an integrated material stock control system, enabling the manufacturing process to be managed in a more automated, efficient and consistent way.
