TRUMPF presents its Annual Report 2025/26
Sales remained virtually unchanged from the previous year at €4.3 billion, while new orders increased by nearly 7% to €4.5 billion. The EBIT margin rose significantly to 11.1%.
At the close of fiscal year 2025/26, on June 30, 2026, the TRUMPF Group recorded a slight increase in sales of 0.2%, to €4.34 billion (previous year: €4.33 billion). After three fiscal years of decline, new orders returned to growth, increasing by 6.6% to €4.5 billion (previous year: €4.2 billion). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased significantly to €480 million (previous year: €59 million). The EBIT margin stood at 11.1%, compared to 1.4% in the previous year.
Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller, CEO of TRUMPF, stated: “The intensive work we have undertaken company-wide to implement the necessary cost reductions and optimize our product portfolio is paying off. The increase in order intake is particularly encouraging for the current fiscal year, in which we expect to continue growing. Despite global geopolitical tensions and trade restrictions, we remain cautiously optimistic about an economic recovery in our business. The positive trend of the last fiscal year has been clearly confirmed during the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2026/27.”
TRUMPF identifies significant opportunities in certain markets and business segments over the coming months. These include electromobility, semiconductors and power electronics, as well as, in the machine tool sector, manufacturing technologies for data center equipment, smart factory solutions, and services. Another area with strong future potential is humanoid robotics. "Overall, we expect our customers to renew their machinery fleets after a prolonged period of containment and, in doing so, to also take advantage of our connected manufacturing solutions."
