ADDITIUM 3D
H - WING
Drone concept designed to be manufactured 100% with MJF technology and at a cost of less than €600
H-WING is a fixed-wing UAV designed and manufactured entirely by Additium3D as a demonstrator of how far industrial additive manufacturing can go when design and process are conceived together. Its entire structure is made 100 % in HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) with PA12S, with not a single structural part produced any other way.
From concept to a complete aircraft, manufactured and assembled, in just six weeks and five iterations. That is the development pace we offer our customers: every design revision goes into the machine the same day.
Technical highlights:
Cylindrical fuselage for canister launch, with folding wings and tail that deploy on exit.
Hinges integrated into the printed part itself: fewer part numbers, fewer fasteners and less assembly.
0.5 mm walls verified on our own parts, with local stiffening from carbon rods designed in from the start.
Nested fuselage sections: two complete aircraft, with all their parts, in a single 380 × 284 × 380 mm build and one machine cycle.
Series cost for the complete kit below €600, with no moulds or tooling: scaling up means adding builds, not investing.
Aerodynamics validated through CFD simulation.
In-house launch canister, printed in FDM with ABS-GF, to validate the complete system.
H-WING is not a product for sale: it is our calling card. Because most of what we make is protected by NDAs, we created it to show, without restrictions, what we can do with our customers' parts in aircraft, ground and naval platforms, and any industrial product that needs lightweight, consolidated parts that can be produced in series.
Come and see it at our stand and bring your parts: we will tell you which technology and material suits each one, how much it costs to produce them in series and how long it takes.
