HERVEL Electroquímica, S.L. is a family-owned company founded in 1970, with more than 55 years of experience providing solutions for surface treatment and finishing, as well as industrial wastewater treatment.

The company specializes in the development and manufacturing of its own chemical formulations, as well as in the supply and implementation of equipment and processes tailored to each customer's specific needs. Its solutions cover technologies such as vibratory finishing, blasting, degreasing, cleaning, pickling, passivation, polishing and surface finishing, black oxide coating, phosphating, and corrosion protection, as well as the design of industrial wastewater treatment systems and solutions aimed at achieving zero liquid discharge.

In recent years, HERVEL has applied its extensive experience in surface treatment to the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM), developing specific solutions for the post-processing of metal and polymer parts produced by 3D printing. Through POSTADDIT by HERVEL, the company provides customized processes for cleaning, residue removal, surface roughness reduction, homogenization, and surface finish improvement, combining different technologies according to the material, geometry, and required results.

Thanks to its laboratories, pilot facilities, and R&D&I department, HERVEL can carry out preliminary tests on actual customer parts, develop specific formulations, and define customized processes prior to their industrial implementation.

With facilities in Ermua (Bizkaia) and María de Huerva (Zaragoza), Spain, HERVEL combines experience, chemical development, process engineering, and innovation to provide sustainable and customized solutions for surface treatment, additive manufacturing post-processing, and industrial wastewater treatment.
