PCD2K Webinar: This is how the session went in which we showcased the future of test machine control
We recently held a webinar on PCD2K, our control system for testing machines, showing how it modernizes existing equipment and improves the accuracy, efficiency, and performance of testing laboratories.
During the session, PCD2K, the control and data acquisition system developed by Servosis for the modernization and management of testing machines, was presented. The platform integrates state-of-the-art hardware and software, offering high-precision control, high-speed data acquisition, and extensive customization capabilities to meet the specific needs of each laboratory or manufacturer. Key features showcased included high-frequency control, compatibility with universal, fatigue, torsion, compression, and special-purpose testing machines, test automation, configuration of custom methods, integration of sensors and accessories, real-time results visualization, and automatic report generation. One of the most relevant aspects of the webinar was the importance of modernizing rather than replacing. Although many testing machines maintain their mechanical capabilities after years of service, their electronics and software often limit their performance. PCD2K allows for the upgrade of this equipment with a new control architecture that improves accuracy, simplifies maintenance, and adds new functionalities, avoiding the investment required to purchase a completely new machine. The session concluded with a question and answer session that addressed aspects related to the upgrading of existing equipment, compatibility with different testing machines, and the possibilities for customizing the software, reflecting the growing interest in the sector for solutions that improve productivity without sacrificing the accuracy and traceability of the tests.
