Böllhoff offers a comprehensive range of self-locking fasteners, the RIPP LOCK® family. The range of lock washers, nuts, and bolts ensures secure and reliable connections. RIPP LOCK® lock washers feature radial grooves on both sides. The angle of the groove pitch is greater than the thread pitch. Once the bolt and nut are in place, the radial grooves of the RIPP LOCK® lock washers engage with the underside of the bolt head, minimizing movement between the bolt head and the washer. RIPP LOCK® lock washers are highly reliable, even under continuous vibration or high stress. Their high hardness and strength make them suitable for all bolt classes up to size 12.9. RIPP LOCK® self-locking nuts and bolts also ensure reliable connections and require no additional components; their larger contact area eliminates the need for washers. Furthermore, the edges of the teeth are not sharp, which guarantees greater protection against corrosion at the joint, as the contact surface is not damaged.
