Sistema de compensación de tolerancias FLEXITOL®

Progressive Tolerance Compensation Manual Compensation: This tolerance compensation system is threaded into the receiving part to a defined position. During the installation process, the component's tolerances are compensated (zero tolerance when the component is delivered from the factory). Further adjustment is then possible during assembly. When the joint is released, the defined position is maintained. Automatic Compensation: Two components are oriented or positioned relative to each other. When they are threaded together, the gap between the two parts is automatically compensated. The tolerance compensation system maintains the initial alignment position. When the joint is released, the system returns to the initial position. Efficient Production: The use of FLEXITOL® tolerance compensation systems allows for tighter production tolerances, ensuring more efficient production methods.

Remachadoras para remaches estructurales y remaches de collar HUCK®

A wide range of riveting tools – from pneumatic to hydraulic – are available for installing HUCK® structural rivets and collar rivets. The choice of the most suitable riveting tool depends on the type and diameter of the rivet, as well as the accessibility of the application. In most cases, HUCK® riveting tools can be used for both collar and structural rivets; only the nozzle needs to be changed. Procedure/Principle: After placing the structural rivet in the housing, the riveting tool is activated, and the deformation of the rivet's blind end begins. Due to the generated tension, the shank will break. For collar rivets, once the shank and collar are in place and the tool has started, the nozzle presses the collar against the parts to be joined, performing the first stage of the fastening process. Applications HUCK® riveting and installation equipment is used in many industries, including trucks and trailers, automobiles, HVAC, buses, renewable energy, and rail. Advantages Riveters that facilitate installation, regardless of the operator's skill level. Durable, highly reliable, and strong joints, even under continuous vibration. High-quality, maintenance-free joints with a long service life. HUCK® riveting tools can be used for both collar rivets and structural rivets; only the nozzle needs to be changed. Thanks to these types of riveting tools, assembly times are reduced by up to 75%.

Tornillos de plástico e insertos de plástico autorroscantes TEPRO® K' in K' para usar en piezas de plástico

In the medium and long term, direct threading with metal screws into plastic parts leads to problems with the fit or the screw connection itself, due to movement, vibration, and temperature changes. When working with plastic components, it makes more sense to use plastic screws. The solution, in this case, is to use our K' in K' plastic fasteners (from the German "Kunststoff in Kunststoff," meaning "plastic in plastic"). K' in K' plastic screws and plastic inserts utilize a patented thread geometry that is easily identified by two offset half-threads. The K' in K' thread self-forms or self-taps a receiving thread within the pre-made cylindrical or conical plastic housing. A chip-receiving groove running the entire length of the plastic screw allows for optimal threading and tapping without blocking the thread flanks. Thanks to the resulting rake angle and the adjacent free angle, the thread penetrates the material with a reduced tightening torque during threading. However, when unscrewing these plastic screws or fasteners, a significantly higher tightening torque is required, ensuring that the fastener is reliably secured against accidental loosening or detachment.

El PARRYPLUG® protege los tornillos contra la manipulación: la solución universal para evitar el aflojamiento no autorizado de sus uniones roscadas.

Do you want to protect your threaded connections against unauthorized tampering? The PARRYPLUG® offers a quick and clean solution. The locking element securely attaches to the inner head of the screw, preventing unauthorized loosening of the connection. Innovative solution for optimal protection: Unauthorized loosening of screws in machines and equipment poses a serious risk. Therefore, it is often necessary to effectively prevent unauthorized tampering. While conventional solutions irreparably damage the screw head, the PARRYPLUG® offers a completely innovative solution. Axial ribs that protect against tampering: The locking principle of the PARRYPLUG® is based on specially designed axial ribs. These ribs ensure a secure attachment to the screw head. With the PARRYPLUG®, the locking element is flush with or slightly recessed into the screw head. Even under intense vibration, its position on the head remains stable. To accommodate the tight tolerances of common hex head screws, these locking elements are manufactured to the strictest standards. The use of high-performance plastic allows for a wide temperature range from -50°C to +200°C.

Los filetes insertos HELICOIL®: la solución para reforzar y reparar roscas

Even today, the most widely used fastener remains the screw. Highly developed high-strength screws reduce the size or number of screws required. However, only high-strength threads can achieve durable and robust connections. For over 65 years, HELICOIL® has been used in these applications: a flagship product that continues to lead the market and remain at the forefront of fastening technology. These threads are manufactured from a rhomboid-profiled wire with an elastic spiral shape. These inserted threads create highly precise threads that are resistant to wear, stress, high temperatures, and corrosion, while minimizing friction with tight tolerances. HELICOIL® is installed similarly to a screw, but the reinforced threading technique enhances strength and allows for the repair of damaged threads. Furthermore, HELICOIL® ensures uniform load and stress distribution, and we offer numerous variations to guarantee the most suitable solution for a wide range of requirements. One of its variants, HELICOIL® Plus, was created for use in high-temperature environments, such as printing presses and joints subject to frequent disassembly, but also for repairs and maintenance. In addition to this type, there are other variants: HELICOIL® Plus "Free running" (resulting in an internal thread that can be checked with calipers and is reversible), and HELICOIL® Plus Screwlock, which offers the same advantages as the HELICOIL® Plus "Free running" threads, but also features a thread design that acts as a brake on the screw: the threads of HELICOIL® Plus Screwlock have one or more polygonal loops that create friction, preventing the screw from loosening (due to thermal shock or vibration). There is also a HELICOIL® without a threading mechanism: HELICOIL® Tangfree. The latest generation: HELICOIL® Smart.

Tecnología de soldadura por resistencia WELTAC®

WELTAC® is a new development from Böllhoff that utilizes resistance welding technology and facilitates the joining of lightweight materials to steels of any type. The WELTAC® system is a flexible technology that meets today's demanding requirements for joint strength, especially in the automotive sector, as it enables the creation of mechanically strong joints ideal for body production processes. Until now, resistance spot welding processes could not create joints between dissimilar materials in vehicle bodies because these materials were thermally incompatible or only partially compatible. This technology, a further development of resistance spot welding technologies, opens up the possibility of using existing equipment in production plants to create high-strength joints between materials of different thicknesses and grades, even with hot-formed steel. In this process, a rivet-like element, made of a material compatible with the base sheet, is used as the joining element. The first stage of the process consists of inserting the WELTAC® welding element until it pierces the upper sheet of material; then this piece is welded to the lower steel sheet.

Elementos de fijación autoblocantes RIPP LOCK®: arandelas, tuercas y tornillos de seguridad

Böllhoff offers a comprehensive range of self-locking fasteners, the RIPP LOCK® family. The range of lock washers, nuts, and bolts ensures secure and reliable connections. RIPP LOCK® lock washers feature radial grooves on both sides. The angle of the groove pitch is greater than the thread pitch. Once the bolt and nut are in place, the radial grooves of the RIPP LOCK® lock washers engage with the underside of the bolt head, minimizing movement between the bolt head and the washer. RIPP LOCK® lock washers are highly reliable, even under continuous vibration or high stress. Their high hardness and strength make them suitable for all bolt classes up to size 12.9. RIPP LOCK® self-locking nuts and bolts also ensure reliable connections and require no additional components; their larger contact area eliminates the need for washers. Furthermore, the edges of the teeth are not sharp, which guarantees greater protection against corrosion at the joint, as the contact surface is not damaged.

HITSERT® Screwlock : Inserto metálico roscado autoblocante para piezas de plástico

Böllhoff combines the advantages of two excellent fastening elements to perfect the efficiency of its HITSERT® Screwlock metal insert. The HITSERT® Screwlock metal insert combines the advantages of the HITSERT® 2 aluminum insert with those of the HELICOIL® Screwlock stainless steel threaded insert to ensure the security of screw connections under demanding conditions. These two elements work together perfectly: the screw is locked by the polygonal thread of the HELICOIL® Screwlock, which creates a locking effect on the sides of the screw or bolt being threaded. This results in a friction-based, elastic locking mechanism that prevents loosening of the connection or unwanted loosening.

HELICOIL® Smart: el inserto inteligente para crear uniones de alta resistencia

The innovative HELICOIL® Smart technology represents a further advancement in Böllhoff's HELICOIL® threading technology. The novelty lies in its threaded insert with a built-in guide that doesn't require breaking. This intelligent insert combines the advantages of HELICOIL® Plus and HELICOIL® Tangfree. It's a fastening solution with a guide, but without one: there's no need to break or remove it, and no risk of the guide remaining in the component. The HELICOIL® Smart thread creates high-strength threads by transferring forces from side to side in the receiving thread. Made with a rhombic profile thread, it also forms an elastic spiral. In its Free Running version, it runs freely, turning each turn to create a perfectly calibrated internal female thread that can be used from either side. Creating the thread simply requires the Smart setting tool, which is about the size of a tap. The most innovative feature is the ability to control the cutting blade position. When screwed in, the blade acts as a pusher, and when unscrewed, it transforms into a compression and bending tool. In other words, it's a dual-function placement rod. The HELICOIL® Smart placement process is fully automated and very easy to use, yet delivers highly accurate results. It's a highly efficient system that reduces assembly time by approximately 20%, and has the advantage that the fastener and placement device are from the same supplier. Furthermore, it allows for minimal depth blind holes, making it ideal for pre-assembled subassemblies, etc.
