KAPTI® is a high-strength, insertable threaded nut fastening solution. It allows for the permanent attachment of a variety of nuts to a panel or component through a mechanical placement process. The system is particularly suitable for attaching multiple nuts to thin steel sheets and strips, and can also be used on aluminum and stainless steel. This solution improves upon traditional weld nuts: it offers significant cost savings, as they are inserted in a single motion, positioned during the pressing process, and allow for the installation of multiple fasteners in a single operation. Furthermore, the placement process is fume- and heat-free, and requires minimal electricity, making it an environmentally friendly process. Position control is also simpler, the nuts are torsion-resistant, and they are suitable for coated materials.
