Böllhoff combines the advantages of two excellent fastening elements to perfect the efficiency of its HITSERT® Screwlock metal insert. The HITSERT® Screwlock metal insert combines the advantages of the HITSERT® 2 aluminum insert with those of the HELICOIL® Screwlock stainless steel threaded insert to ensure the security of screw connections under demanding conditions. These two elements work together perfectly: the screw is locked by the polygonal thread of the HELICOIL® Screwlock, which creates a locking effect on the sides of the screw or bolt being threaded. This results in a friction-based, elastic locking mechanism that prevents loosening of the connection or unwanted loosening.
