👉 We developed a variety of Gaskets and optimized them for the respective application.
☝️ Depending on a customer’s requirements, we provide Gaskets made of:
✔️PVC,
✔️PUR,
✔️Silicone color blue,
✔️EPDM,
✔️Neoprene,
✔️NBR, or
✔️a combination of Foam Rubber and PVC.
🎯 Standards:
✔️ The EPDM Seals by DIRAK adhere to the UL 157 and UL 50 E (Underwriters Laboratories) safety standards. This certification constitutes the basis for the final UL approval for the entire Enclosure/Cabinet.
✔️ For rail vehicles: The materials used in the EPDM profiles are tested according to DIN EN 45545-2 (R22/R23 HL2 bzw. HL3).
✔️Foam gasket: PUR: The shelf-live of foam gaskets with glue is approx. 6 months, tested to UL50E.
✔️Sealing profile made of silicone: Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and BfR XV "Silicone" requirements
Additionally, we produce Window Profile and Edge Protection Profiles that reduce the risk of injury due to sharp edges.
