More robust machine connections thanks to norelem’s expanded range of clevis pins

Norelem, the global specialist in standardized components, offers a wider range of secure components for engineers and manufacturers with five new models in its clevis pin range. The new components are designed to provide more robust connections that hold machine parts together.

The new models include three new clevis pins and two new clevises that can hold machine parts together, such as those commonly used to connect cylinders or air springs to other components. Clevis pins, also known as connecting pins or shaft pins, are adjustable, movable connecting elements for the transmission of static forces. They act as connecting and guiding elements for simple movement sequences, such as linear push/pull movements or shaft displacement compensation. In combination with press-fit pins and springs, the clevises can function as fully functional clevis joints. The range also includes a new clevis pin with a slot for securing shafts using a lock washer. There is also a newly introduced stainless steel clevis pin that offers secure locking with an added external thread for increased security and hold. Other clevis pin versions are available, designed for use with a slot and suitable for a DIN 471 slot, or alternatively with a pin, which offers an equally robust connection. Marcus Schneck, CEO of norelem, says: “At norelem, we understand that durability and reliability are key for engineers and manufacturers. That’s why our range of clevises and clevis pins create secure connections that provide complete peace of mind, ensuring the safety and functionality of many different types of machines.” To learn more about norelem and its range of components, visit www.norelem.es.
