V Laser On is a Portuguese company specialized in precision metalworking, providing complete industrial solutions for OEMs and machine manufacturers across Europe. With over 15 years of experience and a production facility of 16,000 m, 7,000m² of which are covered, we are recognized for our quality, reliability, and technical expertise in manufacturing complex welded structures.
We act as a strategic metalworking supplier, offering integrated services that include laser cutting, bending, CNC machining, manual and robotic welding, powder coating, and final assembly. Our turnkey approach allows us to deliver complete metal assemblies ready to be integrated into the final stage of your production process, reducing both logistics costs and manufacturing lead times for our clients.

Products & services
Laser cutting
Since the beginning, laser cutting has become one of the key strengths of our in-house production, allowing us to respond with efficiency and precision to our customers’ requirements. We work daily with a wide range of metal sheets from leading suppliers, focusing on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. For this reason, we have invested in TRUMPF® laser cutting technology, renowned for its innovation and high performance. We currently operate two machines with power ratings of 3 kW and 12 kW, capable of cutting steel up to 30 mm thick, and stainless steel or aluminium up to 35 mm. Our six highly skilled teams, working in shifts, ensure a cutting service operating 24 hours a day, five days a week.
Bending
We love a good challenge — that’s why our clients trust us with their most complex projects. By combining the know-how of our motivated team with the capabilities of our press brakes, we turn the impossible into something simple. And we do it with precision and speed. To achieve this, we rely on several hydraulic and electric press brakes from RICO® and TRUMPF®, including the TruBend 5130 model. This machine provides a bending force of up to 1300 kN and a bending length of 3000 mm. For us, no angle is impossible!
Manual welding
The Portuguese metalworking industry is renowned for the high quality of its craftsmanship. The northern region of Portugal, known as the country’s industrial hub, is home to the most skilled welders. At V LASER ON, we take pride in having a highly experienced team and new facilities with 19 welding stations, equipped with state-of-the-art Fronius technology, capable of performing all types of welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. We stand out for our ability to execute even the most complex mechanically welded assemblies, including aluminium welding with a high degree of perfection. We also have laser welding technology and a robotic welding cell with Fanuc technology, ensuring maximum precision, repeatability, and efficiency throughout our production processes. Robotic welding
Robotic welding represents the highest level of precision, repeatability, and efficiency in metal joining processes. At V LASER ON, we operate a robotic welding cell equipped with Fanuc technology, capable of performing complex welds with consistent quality and high production speed. The integration of advanced programming and control sensors allows us to optimize every operation, ensuring minimal variability between parts and strict compliance with dimensional specifications. With this technology, we can handle medium to large production runs with maximum precision, maintaining the highest industrial safety and quality standards. Electrostatic painting (powder coating)
Electrostatic painting, also known as powder coating, allows for shorter application and curing times, increasing efficiency and reducing costs, with a uniform, high-quality finish preferred by the leading equipment manufacturers we work with. Parts undergo pre-treatment, including degreasing, cleaning, and phosphate application, to protect against corrosion and improve paint adhesion. Then, epoxy powder paint is applied using electrostatic charging by a specialized operator, ensuring full coverage of every contour of the part. The parts are then cured in an oven at temperatures between 160 °C and 200 °C, depending on the type of paint and material, creating the chosen final finish: smooth, textured, matte, glossy, etc. Each part is carefully inspected and packed, then sent for assembly or directly to the customer. At V Laser On, we work with leading suppliers such as AkzoNobel, Axalta, and Cin to ensure perfect final results.
Assembly
At V Laser On, we offer a true turnkey service. From sheet cutting to the final finish, the entire process is carried out in-house, ensuring full control at every stage. Our production capacity allows us to deliver fully assembled structures, ready to be integrated into our customers’ production processes. To achieve this, we have a team of 7 experienced staff in metal assembly, ensuring the delivery of a finished product of the highest quality.
