The HELUCHAIN MULTISPEED series of drag chain cables has been specially designed for highly dynamic applications in cable carrier systems. These control, connection and motor cables are available in various conductor cross-sections, three different jacket materials, and in both shielded and unshielded versions, offering a complete range with the optimum cable for every application.
HELUCHAIN MULTISPEED cables are built according to the same design principle and optimized for continuous movement in drag chains. An extruded inner jacket that fills the gaps ensures the stability of the individual conductors and prevents mechanical damage caused by abrasion or bending, especially over long travel distances. Cable variants with seven or more conductors are stranded in bundles to distribute forces evenly. This results in a significantly longer service life, even under demanding movements and millions of bending cycles.
To perfectly match these drag chain cables to each application, customers can choose from three different jacket materials. PVC is resistant to water, acids and cleaning agents, while also being a cost-effective option. PUR is resistant to oil and notch damage and is particularly suited to long travel distances and rapid acceleration. For small bending radii, low temperatures, and outdoor or heavy-duty applications, lightweight and durable TPE is the ideal choice. All cables are also available with a tinned copper braided shield, enhancing their EMC properties.
