How to scale from short-run to series production without assuming prohibitive tooling costs?

In industrial component development, one of the greatest technical challenges is achieving complex geometries while maintaining strict control over initial costs.

Industrial additive manufacturing is no longer just a prototyping tool; it has become a viable, production-ready solution—provided the optimal process and material are selected for each specific application.

From our manufacturing facility in Barcelona (Spain), we support technical departments by integrating a wide range of in-house technologies tailored to their precise requirements:

➔ Series production & isotropy: Through MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) technology in Polyamida PA12 and TPU, ideal for robust, market-ready components.

➔ Total geometric freedom: Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) eliminates the need for support structures, allowing for intricate internal cavities in technical materials.

➔ High resolution & biocompatibility: SLA (Stereolithography) processes using epoxy resins for high-definition visual models or certified parts for the medical and food sectors.

➔ Industrial tooling & large format: FDM extrusion using high-performance engineering thermoplastics (such as ULTEM or ABS/PC) to equip assembly lines directly.

➔ Lightweight metal components: Layer-by-layer laser melting (SLM) in steel, titanium, or aluminium to optimise weight in demanding sectors like transport.

Since 2000, we have combined this comprehensive in-house infrastructure with advanced post-processing, technical painting, and quality verification, managing global projects directly from our European industrial hub.
