New LOCTITE product range: EV repair solutions

Henkel launches an innovative range of LOCTITE solutions for electric vehicle repair.

In response to the growing shift toward sustainable mobility, Henkel introduces its new LOCTITE range of Electric Vehicle (EV) Repair Solutions. This product line is designed to improve efficiency, safety, and circularity in repair processes, offering high-performance solutions tailored to the needs of the electric vehicle industry.

Electric mobility is a key step toward a more sustainable future, reducing CO₂ emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. However, it also introduces new repair challenges, such as high-voltage systems and specialized materials. The LOCTITE range addresses these challenges with innovative solutions that enable safe, durable, and efficient repairs while extending EV lifespan.

Battery systems are at the core of electric vehicles. Repairing rather than replacing them can reduce costs by up to 77% and CO₂ emissions by up to 91%. LOCTITE thermal interface materials and gasketing solutions support reliable battery servicing and optimal thermal management. In addition, threadlocking and retaining products for electric drivetrains secure critical components, improve performance, and extend service life.

Key benefits of the new range include enhanced safety through reliable thermal management, high performance for EV-specific requirements, easy and fast application to improve workshop productivity, and technical support for correct usage.
