AFM, Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Machine Tools, accessories, parts and tools, represents 90% of machine tool and advanced manufacturing technology companies in Spain. AFM, based in San Sebastian and with an office in China (Tianjin), works to promote internationalisation and, through its INVEMA (Foundation for Machine Tool Research) technology unit, the technological innovation of its member companies. AFM, Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, is a member of both CECIMO and ECTA, the European associations of machine tool and cutting tool manufacturers.

AFMEC, the Spanish Association of Contract Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, is an association conceived to group and service companies involved in machining, metal forming, boilermaking and evrything concerning metal-mechanical manufacturing. Its aim is to build a consistent image of the sector, providing information, fostering business cooperation, creating networking opportunities between different market players and supplying value-added services.

Through scheduled visits by our qualified staff and the use of original spare parts, the customer has the peace of mind of having their equipment controlled and monitored by the CONIEX team. Reconditioning of machinery At CONIEX we can recondition used machinery, providing the customer with a very economical option compared to buying a new machine.

AIMHE is the association of machine tool importers and since June 2023 it is included in AFM Cluster. Its main objectives are the representation of the importer and distributor sector in Spain and the generation of cooperation spaces to face the challenges of the group, such as the technological contribution of the represented partners and the focus of the metalworking industry towards sectors and products with higher technology.
