RE550 RENOX

RE550 RENOX - Highly reactive, acid-based liquid rust converter and phosphatiser for iron oxides; water-miscible and suitable for overcoating. It transforms rust into a stable layer that slows down corrosion, making it ideal for the maintenance of metal surfaces, structural steelwork and mechanical components. It can also be used as a rust remover. Apply undiluted with a brush or spray onto a surface cleared of the heaviest rust. Leave to react for a few minutes, remove any residue and apply a second coat. Full drying time 12–24 hours; coverage 15–20 m²/L.
