Online Training. CESOL’s response to Covid-19.

We are living through difficult times in which we must responsibly avoid leaving home except for essential reasons. #stayathome. But these are also days when we may have more time. Time that could be invested in improving the skills and preparing professionals for the difficult economic times and increased job competition that await us once the pandemic is over.

Therefore, CESOL, the Spanish Association of Welding and Joining Technologies, continues its work, begun more than 40 years ago, of collaborating in the training and improving the knowledge of all professionals in the joining technologies sector (Welding, Adhesive Bonding, Additive Manufacturing, among others), providing them with qualifications recognized by the labor market, many of them internationally recognized, that differentiate them and add value to their profiles and companies.

Spain is the country with the most FTTH (Fiber To The Home) fiber optics in Europe, ahead of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. This type of fiber optic cable guarantees higher data transmission speeds and better capabilities for in-person, albeit remote, training compared to other types of fiber optic cable, such as FFTB (Fiber To The Building).

However, we must distinguish between two types of online training, each with its respective advantages.

Synchronous or distance learning online training. This is where the student and teacher participate in a specific course at the same time, albeit in different locations.

The advantages of this system over in-person training are:

It eliminates travel, saves costs, and saves time for students.

Asynchronous or self-learning online training. This allows students to freely study documentation and have a teacher or tutor answer their questions or clarify their doubts.

The advantage of this training system is the flexibility of scheduling. Students can connect whenever they have the time.

It is important to remember that both types of courses are 100% eligible for FUNDAE funding.

We encourage you to invest your time in your training, that of your employees, and in your future and that of your companies, in the format that best suits your different possibilities and needs.

CESOL Training continues, adapted to the new situation, thanks to technology and Spain’s excellent fiber optic communications network.
