Aciturri will lead the H2ELIOS project to promote hydrogen as an aviation fuel.
After completing the proposal evaluation phase, Clean Aviation, an EU-funded public-private Joint Undertaking that excels in developing innovative aeronautical technologies, has entrusted Aciturri to lead the H2ELIOS project with a budget of €12.1 million.
Clean Aviation has earmarked almost €728 million in its first call to fund a total of twenty projects led by leading European companies in the industry, including Rolls Royce, Airbus Operations and Safran, as well as two Spanish companies: Airbus Defence and Space and Aciturri.
