Norelem introduces positioning cylinders with edge expansion clamping system

Norelem have launched positioning cylinders with edge expansion clamping systems that offer a durable and simple assembly and a clamping range from 0 to 30 millimetres, as well as reliably clamping and centring standardised workpieces while quickly adapting to changing production processes. Mechanical positioning systems are used in the automated production of many different processes. They must be fast and reliable, and it must be easy to readjust them if necessary.

Positioning cylinders with edge expansion clamping systems meet all these requirements. They are made of heat-treated burnished steel and are available in four different diameters from 10 to 20 mm. The cylinders achieve holding forces from 5.4 kN to 22.6 kN, with a clamping range from 0 to 30 mm, making them the ideal choice for many manufacturing processes involving the clamping and fixing of standardised elements, even in combination with quick-change systems.
