Viñolas Metall and Fronius together towards Industry 4.0
Viñolas Metall is a family business specialising in the construction of metal structures, sheet metal forming and boilermaking. In its current evolution towards industry 4.0, it has implemented a robotised cell equipped with TPS 400i with CMT process for the manufacture of identical parts, and is renewing its welding equipment with the latest generation iWave Pro.
Viñolas Metall was founded in Cornellà del Terri in 1968 by Josep Viñolas. Since then, the company has been serving individuals and professionals who need metal constructions. Years later, his son David Viñolas joined the company and began a process of investment in machinery with a focus on export sales and project technification. Recently, they have expanded their facilities with a 4,000 square metre manufacturing plant in Banyoles, in addition to the 800 square metre assembly workshop in Cornellà del Terri, and have been awarded ISO 3834-2 certification by Fronius Welding Academy.
