Deep drawing experts

EMPRONOR began its operations in 1965, and today, after 58 years in the sheet metal processing market, we can affirm that we are a national leader in the manufacture of metal parts using the deep drawing process.

EMPRONOR manufactures tank and boiler bases, pipe bases, fire extinguisher bodies, industrial refrigeration containers, insulated containers, and all types of custom parts.

We began by manufacturing washing machine tubs, a very basic and simple product to manufacture. Over time, to serve an increasingly demanding customer who requires a finished final product—ready for assembly—we have been adding multiple processes to deep drawing, such as welding, machining, beading, polishing, painting, heat treatment, etc.

EMPRONOR continues to grow and currently has two industrial buildings in Portugalete (Vizcaya) totaling 4,700 m2 (the second building was acquired in June 2023). It also has the latest machinery, including an 800-ton hydraulic press that was added in 2022.

Thanks to nearly 60 years of market experience, we have an extensive stock of tooling that allows our customers, in 93% of cases, to avoid having to invest in molds and dies.

Among our latest achievements, we would like to highlight two success stories stemming from our engineering department: first, thanks to the latest press we acquired, we have been able to produce 20 mm thick bottoms. Secondly, an EMPRONOR customer who manufactures pressure vessels has managed to reduce costs by 43% by creating a tank with two deep-drawn parts joined by a single weld, instead of using a shell and two bottoms joined by three welds.
