Travel and accommodation
- The venue is equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles.
- The event location is equipped with bicycle parking.
- We recommend carpooling.
- Donation of parking tickets from exhibitors who do not come by car to a social cause.
Production and waste
Production and Waste
- We sort the waste generated by our events.
- We use reusable carpeting at the event.
- Our Smart Badge technology enables a significant reduction in paper usage by our exhibitors.
Energy

- We limit our energy consumption by strictly controlling lighting, heating, and air conditioning levels.
- The event venue and stands are equipped with LED lighting.
- The venue is powered 100% by renewable energy through GdOs (Guarantee of Origin Management): cogeneration, hydroelectric, and wind energy.

- We ask our suppliers to manage portion sizes at catering points to reduce waste.
- Vegetarian and vegan options are offered at the catering points.

Tips for exhibitors
Join our green team and take action for the future!
By exhibiting at Advanced Manufacturing Madrid, you play an essential role in helping us create a sustainable event.
Here are some practical tips to make your participation more sustainable.
Select an “ALL IN” reusable booth model from the organizer or design your own booth so that the structure can be reused several times, year after year. Collaborate with your booth builder to make your booth as sustainable as possible. Avoid creating a disposable stand just for one event…
Create reusable (undated) signage made from recyclable materials and environmentally friendly ink whenever possible.
Use LED lighting and other low-energy equipment for your booth and don’t forget to turn them off at the end of the day.
Try not to use carpeting and, if you really need it, preferably choose reusable carpet tiles. If you use regular carpet, make sure it is recyclable and will be recycled.
When possible, choose public transportation or carpool with colleagues.
Choose a hotel within walking distance and/or that applies environmentally friendly practices.
For your transport, consolidate your shipments and preferably use transport and logistics companies that apply sustainable practices.
Favor local suppliers to support the local economy and reduce transportation.
Support suppliers with environmental and social credentials.
Bring your own reusable water bottle to take advantage of our water fountains and help us reduce single-use plastic.
If you serve food at your stand, preferably choose locally sourced and plant-based foods, and avoid using single-use plastics.
Avoid wasting food and order only the amount you need.
Actively participate in the many initiatives and discussions that will take place during the event to support the sustainable development of your sector.
Inspire visitors by showcasing the sustainable credentials of your products.

We can’t do it alone! Help us make this event more sustainable!
Here’s what you can do to help:
- Whenever possible, walk, cycle or use public transport to come to the event. If you need to use your car, take a colleague or friend with you!
- Bring your own water bottle and help us reduce the use of single-use plastic.
- Use our recycling bins for your trash.
- Use your smart badge to get exhibitor information instead of asking for a brochure.
- Choose a hotel within walking distance of the event and/or applying eco-friendly practices.
