Founded in 1960 by António Martins Oliveira Barros (AMOB) and later succeeded by his son Manuel Barros and his grandchildren Inês Barros and Manuel António Barros, AMOB has gradually become a world leader in the manufacture of equipment for the metalworking industry.

Fully Electric Tube Bending Machines - eMOB 2 Bend Series
Reliability, quality and low energy consumption! This range has, as its main feature, the change of bending direction through a rotative head. It is capable of processing tubes from 5mm up to 63mm outside diameter (OD) and has multi-stack capability. Our eMOB 2 Bend Series is defined as the excellence of tube bending, where quality control, versatility and production accuracy are carefully studied and refined by our team every day. These machines stand out for achieving a left/right bend in cycle, with wiper die support, allowing to perform bends with quality and precision in tubes with tighter bending radii and bigger diameter/thickness ratios. Our Right and Left in-cycle CNC tube bending machines can bend fixed and variable radii within the same cycle and can perform bend-on-bend parts. A carriage booster allows bends with radii as tight as 1D, and reduces clamping marks. Amongst other features it allows automatic spring-back compensation, as well as “in-cycle” correction, stores tooling configuration and positions, runs anti-collision, and interpolates all 11 axes.

Fully Electric Tube Bending Machines - eMOB LR Series
AMOB Right and Left Fully Electric CNC Tube Bender features state-of-the-art bending technology, processing tubes from 5mm up to 32mm (OD) and have multi-stack capability. An excellent bender option if you are looking for a fast, simple machine with optimized cycles and an excellent price/quality ratio. Our Left and Right Fully Electric CNC tube bending machines can bend fixed and variable radii within the same cycle and allow bend-on-bend parts to be produced. A carriage booster allows bends with radii as tight as 1D and also reduces clamping marks. eMOB LR Series allows automatic spring-back compensation as well as “in cycle” correction, stores tooling configuration and positions storage, runs 3D anti-collision simulation, and interpolates all the axes.

Fully Electric Tube Bending Machines - eMOB Series
Fully Electric CNC Tube Benders, the eMOB series features state-of-the-art bending technology, processing tubes from 5mm up to 225mm OD. Our fully electric CNC tube bending machines can bend fixed and variable radii within the same cycle, special sections, have multi-stack up to 8 tools at the same time and can perform bend-on-bend parts. High-quality appearance and minimum ovality even on small radius-to-diameter ratios. This series allows bending round or special section tubes with multiple radii, and has a left or right bending direction. Amongst other features it incorporates automatic spring-back compensation, as well as in-cycle correction, stores tooling configuration and positions, runs anti-collision, and interpolates all axes. Welding detection, punching/cutting mechanisms, and integrated loading/unloading systems are also available.

Hydraulic Tube Bending Machines - CH Series
This range of tube bending machines is capable of processing tubes from 4mm up to 420mm OD. CH machines is a single stack machine, are designed for a wide range of industries. It is available in the full CNC version, in which all three axis are automatic and also includes spring back compensation and 3D simulation with anti-collision technology. CH machines can also be equipped with tube punching/cutting mechanisms. These models are easy to operate, sustainable and designed for the efficient and precise bending of high-strength materials, very large tubes as well as thick or thin-walled tubes. Their rigidity, stability and impressive precision in demanding conditions such as high humidity or harsh temperatures is what makes these tube bending machines an excellent option. The CH series can be equipped with rear and/or front tube loading system, motorized tool adjustment or automatic cutting systems just to name a few options.

Hydraulic Tube Bending Machines - CH Booster Series
The CH booster is AMOB’s perfect answer to industries with specific needs such as (heat-exchangers, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) giving your business the boost it needs! The booster mechanism is integrated into the follower pressure die – parallel to the centerline of the tube. To ensure proper grip of the tube, a secondary clamp is used behind the pressure die assist. To control the booster effect during the bend, operator can dynamically manage its behavior throughout the bending process – from 0° to 192° – using the machine software interface. By adding a split die system, a cutting system, and laser reference system to a CH Booster, our customer can maximize the machine’s full potential, minimising auxiliary production processes like welding, cutting, inspection and more. Combining the booster system with specifically designed tools, we manage to achieve low ovality and reduced loss of wall thickness even when bending mandrelless on >0,8D CLR/OD ratios.

Electromechanical Tube Bending Machines - MDH Series
Covering a capacity range from 6mm up to 90mm (OD), the versatile MDH range is the right choice for anyone starting in the world of bending, being a great choice as a complement to production, prototyping and even market validation. These electromechanical tube bending machines come with a modern industrial design, ergonomically optimized control panel, hydraulic mandrel extractor, clamp die, and pressure die. As a result it guarantees great quality bend finishes. Our MDH series, with NC carriage displacement axis on the CN3 versions, have a user-friendly interface and allows bending complex tube geometries within seconds of programming! Electromechanical Tube Bending Machines - PT Series
The AMOB rotary draw bender can process tubes up to 127mm OD covering applications which require larger center line radius. Usually, these tubes do not require a mandrel which enables extremely quick tooling changeover and reduced setup time. Our PT range is capable of bending tubes with different shapes and materials, always guaranteeing a good finish and maximum speed! Compact machines, with the best technology and a powerful motor capable of working throughout the day. For AMOB, the safety of all equipments produced is a priority, to this end, all machines have a safety pedal that allows total stop at any time. With a 100% controlled system, PT machines also promote both reliability and repeatability.

Tube End Forming Machines – MB Series
AMOB's MB range for end forming is capable of processing tubes up to 250mm outside diameter (OD), covering a wide range of industrial sectors. The main characteristic of these machines is the movement control through hydraulically driven axes which guarantee a good quality to the finished product. We can divide the MB series into 3 main subcategories: MB/1 with only 1 forming station, MB/2 with 2 forming stations and finally, MB/D which has 1 or 2 forming stations on each side. MB/1 and MB/2 With a user-friendly touch screen, these tube end forming machines with 1 or 2 stations are driven by servo controlled axes and allow the creation of programs to use their available stations. These machines exhibit a more rigid construction ensuring precision and repeatability. The ideal solution for the simplest applications. MB/D The main feature of this model is the simultaneous end forming on both ends of the tube. This is only possible due to the existence of forming stations placed on each side of the tube. Driven by servo-controlled axes, MB D makes it possible to adjust the distance between stations according to the tube length. It also has a touch screen with storage of positions and programs.

Hybrids Tube End Forming Machines – MB H Series
AMOB's MB H range for forming is capable of processing tubes up to 250mm outside diameter (OD), covering a wide range of industrial sectors. The main characteristic of these machines is the hybrid movement control. This means that there's a combination of hydraulic and electrical axes. Produced by default with three automatic forming stations, these machines also have the possibility of being equipped with additional stations and rotary stations for forming and machining. Additionally these range can incorporate a punching station. Machines with greater versatility for the execution of the most complex end-forming jobs. This perfect combination allows servo-controlled hydraulic forming, greater precision due to its exchange of electrical stations and rotary tools with up to 2 axes for applications such as thread opening or burr trimming. The total productive autonomy of the AMOB group provides flexibility when it comes to customizing products for our partners, everything is possible, from simple stations, rotary stations or even a combination of these two types.

Manual Section Benders Machines - MAM Series
The manual profile bending machines of the MAM series fully developed by AMOB feature manual adjustment and are the entry level equipment to the world's largest range of profile benders. These profile bending machines are simple, compact, extremely easy to operate and economical, which makes it possible to bend a wide variety of profiles, depending on the work to be done or the available space, they can work in a horizontal or vertical position. The adjustment of the top roll is manual, and its position is guaranteed using a scale. The positioning stability of the top roll is ensured by a lock nut. The MAM series features models with two or three driven rolls with two rotational speeds, the choice depending on the radius and profile to be performed. Perfect for simpler products and small quantities, these bending machines with lateral guides are capable of powering various industries.

Hydraulic Section Benders Machines - MAH Series
The MAH series hydraulic profile bending machines are capable of working with infinite geometries due to their production versatility. AMOB roll forming lines are 100% customizable, that is, they are developed and produced according to the customer's needs, they are easy to operate and enable results with maximum precision, thus optimizing resources and time. With the possibility of processing sheet metal with thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 5 mm and widths up to 1500mm, AMOB roll forming machines are very comprehensive and capable of processing various types of materials such as aluminum, iron, lacquered and galvanized sheet metal, or sheet metal with any other type of surface finish.
