TAV DUAL CHAMBER - LOW PRESSURE CARBURIZING AND GAS QUENCHING VACUUM FURNACE
TAV DUAL CHAMBER furnace is configured to perform vacuum heat treatments with fast quenching as well as LPC processes. The furnace is equipped with a graphite-insulated hot zone and a cold chamber for inert gas quenching up to 20 bar abs, to perform faster and more effective cycles with significant reduction in energy consumption: up to 40% (compared to a single chamber vacuum furnace). It is the ideal solution to enhance mechanical properties for a wide range of treated materials, eliminating further post cleaning after heat treatment.

Brazing in a vacuum furnace allows more accurate control of dimensional tolerances and provides clean joints with no need for additional finishing. Vacuum is especially suitable for brazing of aluminum heat exchangers due to the absence of air, thus preventing the formation of oxides.
