The abrasive grain is composed of aluminum oxide with active additives, ensuring aggressive and consistent cutting on difficult materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium, and superalloys. Klingspor's wide and segmented abrasive belts, designed for Stainless Steel Service Centers, offer high performance in metal surface grinding and polishing. These belts are made with durable backing materials, such as polyester, capable of withstanding high tension and demanding working conditions. They are waterproof for wet applications, and their abrasives, which include aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, or ceramic grains, ensure fast and long-lasting cutting. Available in a wide range of grit sizes, from P24 (coarse) to P180 (fine), they provide a uniform finish. Advanced technologies like anti-static and anti-clogging coatings prevent dust buildup and extend their lifespan. The abrasive grains are bonded with synthetic resins, resistant to high temperatures.
