About us
POLIFLUOR S.L. is a company founded in 1971 devoted to the marketing and manufacture of engineering plastics products for industrial purposes.
Specialized in PTFE (TEFLON®) and its derivates (FEP, PFA, etc.) as well as in other polymers such as Nylon, Acetal Resin, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, PVDF, PVC, CELAZOLE®, TORLON®, PEEK, FLUOROSINT®, etc. we offer comprehensive advice suggesting our customers about the use of one or another material depending on the working conditions of the application to improve productivity, a more effective solution and/or economically more attractive.
Our production of finished goods is only by request: we do not have an end parts catalogue but, according to our customers’ requirements, we set up the characteristics of the final part to manufacture. This allows us to cover a wider range of needs for which we count on a very proactive and efficient team from both human and technical sides.
Our activities are:
• Machining of finished parts according to your drawings or samples for the general and aerospace industry in any of the aforementioned materials. We guarantee perfect finishes and tight tolerances, from small amounts (even prototypes) up to large series.
• Parts design and 3D printing in PA12, PA12GB40, PA11, PP and TPU using the MultiJet Fusion technology of HP. Parts are perfectly functional, overcoming the limitation of being considered as mere prototypes to become a real alternative to injection-molding and a cost-effective complement to machining.
• Non-stick coatings by electrostatic deposition of PTFE (TEFLON®), PFA and FEP for the food and packing industry.
• Stock shapes distribution: we offer our cut-to-size service for rods, hollow bars, sheets and plates in any material.
• Manufacturing of conveyor belts and trays with PTFE (TEFLON®) coated glass fabrics according to your drawings or sample for the food and packing industry.
• Corrosion resistant linings with sheets of FEP, MFA, PFA, PTFE (TEFLON®), PVDF and other materials for the chemical industry.
• Heat exchangers in PTFE (TEFLON®), PFA and FEP for the heating and cooling of corrosive baths in the chemical and electroplating industry.
• POLIFILTER® is a porous polymer with high chemical resistance offering filtration possibilities from 10µm up to 80µm.

Machined parts in technical plastics
Machining of finished parts for the general industry according to drawings or samples in PTFE (TEFLON®) and its derivates (FEP, PFA, etc.) as well as other polymers (Nylon, Acetal Resin, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, PVDF, CELAZOLE®, TORLON®, PEEK, FLUOROSINT®, etc.). Parts design and 3D printing in engineering plastics
Parts design and 3D printing in engineering plastic materials such as PA12, PA12GB40, PA11, etc. using the MultiJet Fusion technology. Parts obtained by this method are perfectly functional, overcoming the idea of being just prototypes to become a real alternative to injection molding and a cost-effective complement to machining. • Suited for parts of special configuration and/or challenging geometry, impossible to obtain by other methods. • Parts can be machined afterwards to improve their finishes or adjust even more their tolerances. • Extreme dimensional accuracy and maximum level of detail. • Fully functional parts with optimal mechanical properties. • Parts quality supervised throughout the whole manufacturing process. • We can design your parts right from the beginning: with your instructions, we will start preparing your drawings to arrive to our solid proposal ending up into its finite element analysis if necessary. • Accepted formats for drawings submission: STL, IGES, STEP, etc.
Corrosion resistant linings
Corrosion resistant linings for the chemical industry in FEP, MFA, PFA, PTFE (TEFLON®), PVDF and other materials. PROPERTIES: • nearly total chemical resistance • no aging • thermal resistance from -190°C up to + 260ºC • physiologically inert ADVANTAGES: • unmatched service life: enables long amortizations • maintenance free • allows the use of standard steel as the backing of this lining • warranty: one year in service against all manufacturing defects
Non-stick coverings with PTFE, PFA and FEP
Non-stick coatings by electrostatic deposition of PTFE (TEFLON®), ECTFE (HALAR®), etc. for the food and packing industry which confer excellent release properties to the parts on which they are applied. • Suitable to new and used molds. • Thermal resistance from -190°C up to +260°C. • Remain always clean. Conveyor belts and PTFE (TEFLON®) coated glass or KEVLAR® fabrics
Manufacturing of conveyor belts and trays for the food and packing industry with PTFE (TEFLON®) coated fabrics according to a drawing or sample. PROPERTIES: • Extraordinary release properties (20 dyn/cm): ice does not adhere to its surface. • High temperature resistance (from -190°C up to +260°C). • Completely non-toxic (food safe). • High dimensional stability. • Negligible thermal expansion coefficient. • Permeable to microwave radiation and ultrasounds. • Neither absorb energy, nor produce overheating. • Easy wipe/wash clean. APPLICATIONS: • Plastic welding jaws covering. • Press plates covering. • Tray covering in pastry bakeries. • Manufacture of endless conveyor belts for welding plastics or continuous transport of non-stick materials, even at high temperatures. • Open mesh conveyor belts for drying ovens and shrink wrap tunnels.
THERMOFLUOR® heat exchangers
THERMOFLUOR® heat exchangers are manufactured with fluorinated plastics of virtually universal chemical resistance with which we produce not only its structure, but also the spiral tubes with their wall thicknesses optimized to maximize the heat exchange ratio of the application. • Operation by immersion in the bath, with external connection to the cooling or heating fluid. • Applications in bath heating or cooling for metal processing, pickling, chrome plating, nickel plating, phosphate, chemical processing, gas cooling, etc. FEATURES: • Thermal resistance from -190°C up to +260°C. • Practically inert to corrosion. • Not aging. • Working with steam at maximum pressure of 5 bar and 150°C in water or oil, as well as with cold water or other refrigerants. • Fouling resistance: easy cleaning. • Speed and turbulence acquired by the fluid in the tube optimizes the heat exchange ratio and prevents sediment formation, plugs, etc. GUARANTEE: • Our exchangers are guaranteed for a one-year period against manufacturing defects.
