S.F.E. Group was founded in 2019 after the merger of three world leading OEM’s in the field of pipe fabrication tooling and machinery: B&B Pipe and Industrial Tools LLC (USA), Mathey Dearman Inc. (USA) and TAG Pipe Equipment Specialists (UK). Most recently the S.F.E Group has completed the acquisition of the AXXAIR Group (France).

Orbital Facing machine DC65-MA
Orbital facing DC65-MA Diameter ø3 - ø63.5mm Orbital facing machine : portable, lightweight and designed to be used on site as well as in the workshop. Tube facing consists in bringing the end of a tube or an accessory into conformity and acts on 3 aspects: the perpendicularity of the tube face (maintenance) - the surface state of the face - a length adjustment. Burfree facing, the chip unrolls towards the outside of the tube. Perfect preparation for thin tubes before orbital welding.
Orbital Micro-Fitting SXMF
The Micro-fitting Series has been designed to weld small diameters tubing and fittings mainly in the semiconductor industry. This head is a cassette system which allows first to position the parts to be welded in the cassette that is a clamping feature. Once centered and positioned correctly, the welding head is slided in the cassette to correctly position the electrode to the surface to be welded. The cassette combinations are multiple depending on the type of parts to be welded, tube-tube, tube-union elbow, union elbow-union elbow for example.
TAG Prep machines (½" to 24")
Our pipe beveling machines & pipe prep tubes come in small, medium and large diameters. These pipe beveling machines and pipe preps are designed to suit the arduous conditions of today's job sites, covering all pipe sizes and any material from ½" to 24". We manufacture a large range of i/d locking portable pipe bevelling machines ranging from ½" i/d to 24" i/d. Our pipe beveling machines and pipe prep tubes are capable of producing all of the standard weld preparations required, i.e V-preps, J-preps and borematches on mild steel, stainless steel, duplex, superduplex and inconel wrapped pipes. Our pipe prep, beveling machines and all of the other machines in the range are torque reactive, enabling the operator to work on pipe without needing to secure it in a vice, this feature makes this range of machines ideal for on-site or workshop environments.

Ideally suited, but not limited to workshops, and high productivity process environments. The E-Z FAB utilises a similar principle to our clamshell split frame cutting and bevelling machines. However, the rotating, working inner ring is 1 piece, and is housed in a cast outer body, meaning strength, rigidity and speed. Due to its stability and powerful 1.5kw servo electric motor. The ring is 1 piece meaning that it can rotate at high speed, whilst maintaining a stable, precise cut.
