About us
History
Sumicarol is a family company that works in the industrial supply. It is more 40 years that it set up in Vigo in 1982. At first, the business was managed to local commerce and regional: metal, wood, board industry, automotive and shipyard. Nowadays, it focusses in both areas: national and international commerce. Besides, Sumicarol has an important position in new markets, such as, distribution.
The quality is our identification
In 1998, due to own initiative and the beginning of a renovation technological of equipment, computer and communication programs, that finished before 2000, the company obtained the quality certification according to Rule UNE-EN-ISO.
We are manufactures
In 2005, it is taken a huge decision about the creation of own factory of transformation of abrasives. The factory originates from a changing and global market. STC Stacab is provided with the latest technology for production of abrasive materials in all their shapes: belts, rolls, flap wheels, sand sheet and sand disc. This large range of products and thanks to a group of professionals with the best qualifications and a lot of experience make us an important company in our sector.

Flap Wheels
Manufactured with abrasive cloth edges radially assembled around the core. Flap disc
The flap discs are designed with the idea of replacing the cutting and grinding discs in some applications, They are abrasive sheets arranged on plates that can be made of Nylon or fiberglass, with great flexibility that manage to adapt to the contact surface allowing the discs better cutting power. Also the possibility of selecting the type of abrasive and aggressiveness of the grain, makes flap discs a versatile product, becuase you can control the type of finish you are going to obtain. Fiber disc
