Aluminium and non-ferrous metals

Aluminium is a strong, lightweight, waterproof and durable metal. It is a very versatile and easily workable material. Using do-it-yourself tools, it can be transformed into a wide range of shapes and different finishes, so it is used in multiple applications. It is also a 100% recyclable metal. If minimising weight is your goal, then aluminium is the ideal choice. Aluminium is lightweight, strong and durable, with great resistance to corrosion. It is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. It has good reflective properties, high ductility, is completely waterproof and fully recyclable.

Stainless Steels

Stainless steel is a highly corrosion resistant steel, as the chromium or other alloying metals it contains have a high affinity for oxygen and react with it to form a protective layer, thus preventing corrosion of the iron. However, this layer can be affected by some acids, resulting in the iron being attacked and oxidised by intergranular mechanisms or generalised pitting. Some types of stainless steel also contain other alloying elements, the main ones being nickel and molybdenum.

Heavy Plate

Our product portfolio includes a wide range of special steel sheets, either in stock or on order for re-rolling for direct delivery from thyssenkrupp Steel Europe. In addition to these grades, we offer other more common grades from the factory, such as carbon steel, special nickel steels or armour. It should also be noted that our product range includes alloys suitable for the welding of heavy plate products. Our commitment to the customer, as an essential part of our corporate philosophy, means that in addition to materials, we also provide services to our customers in our value chain. Proof of this are the cutting machines (HD Plasma and Oxyfuel) that we use to transform the sheets and to be able to supply customised parts in compliance with the highest quality standards.

Tool steels

This group includes all steels that can be used for the manufacture of tools. However, in practice, the application of this term is limited to high quality special steels used in the manufacture of tools or tools intended to work materials by cutting, pressing or machining. There are various procedures which can be used to group tool steels. One of them is the hardening medium used: there are water-hardening steels, oil-hardening steels and air-hardening steels. Another is by the alloying elements. Finally, depending on their intended application, they are classified into high-speed steels and cold work steels.

We have a complete service to offer standard sheets, cut to size with HD plasma, drilling, countersinking, bending and parts to drawing. Wear resistant steels

High Temperature Steels

Steel sheets resistant to medium temperatures 500º/ 600º withstand heat and creep well. Mo contributes to improving the mechanical characteristics at high temperatures and Cr to improving the strength of the steel. The most common applications: cement industry, chemical industry, cogeneration equipment, power plants, boiler works, etc. and in general where it is required to withstand high temperatures for long periods of time.

Armour steels

Steel plates for armour for civil and/or military use. All qualities are applied according to the degree of protection to be obtained. Our factory has a great experience and knowledge in this sector, and our steels are widely tested and easy to use. Ask for more information for your case. These steels are used at the customer's discretion as a means of achieving ballistic protection, preferably in applications such as armoured limousines and vans fitted for the transport of valuables. The choice of the specific material is the responsibility of the purchaser. The processing and application technology used has, on the whole, a major impact on the usefulness of products made of these steels. The manufacturer must therefore ensure that all his calculations, constructions and manufacturing processes are suitable for the material used, meet the technical conditions and are suitable for the intended use.
