From Oct 16–18, 2024, the 5th China Advanced Materials Conf. & 1st Device Expo, co-hosted by Chinese Materials Research Soc. & Wuhan Econ. & Tech. Dev. Zone, was held in Wuhan. ~8,000 global reps (academics, experts, entrepreneurs, investors, officials) attended. Theme: "Accelerating Major Breakthroughs in Key Strategic Materials & Promoting High-Quality Dev. of New Quality Productive Forces." The conf. addressed future industry needs, supported high-tech, manufacturing & major projects. Nearly 80 sub-venues covered 7 material categories. Focusing on 5-year tech. breakthroughs, it promoted sci-enterprise-investor integration to speed industrialization.
