Almost every manufacturer already has an ERP. And almost every one has, alongside it, three spreadsheets doing what the ERP does not: the costing that actually works, the batch tracking, the quote that has to be rebuilt every time.

Those spreadsheets are one particular person's work, they exist nowhere if that person is away, and nobody is sure which version is the right one.

What we do is write the missing piece and connect it to what already works. We are not here to replace your ERP or to sell you a licence full of modules you will never open: we are here to cover the specific gap and to make the data flow in and out on its own.

Where we usually come in:

Production control: what is released, on which machine, how much is left. Batch traceability: which heat each part came from and which customer it went to. Quotation management: so the quote is calculated and stored with the terms that were actually given. And invoicing that meets current regulation, connected to the rest rather than sitting on its own island.

And one thing that separates us from a conventional consultancy: we know how to calculate. If the program has to decide something technical — which material to order, whether a size can be manufactured, what a part really costs — it does not approximate it or leave a field for someone to fill in by hand: it calculates it, with the source of the figure in plain sight.

And we will tell you no when no is the answer. If an off-the-shelf package already solves your problem, we will say so, even though it means not doing the work. Custom software that was not needed is expensive for you and bad for us.
