✅ WHAT IS A FREEWHEEL USED FOR?
Freewheels are a 100% mechanical solution for applications where:

1.-You need to ensure that a shaft can only rotate in one direction.
2.-You need to protect the drive system when, due to inertia or an external force, the driven part rotates faster (overtakes) than the drive itself, which could otherwise strain or damage it.
3.-You want to achieve a simple step-by-step forward motion (similar to a ratchet).
