GapGun is Third Dimension’s portable non-contact laser measurement solution, distributed by Metromecánica. It provides fast, accurate and repeatable measurement of features such as gaps, flush, radii, angles, chamfers, countersinks, sealants and welds directly on the part. It replaces traditional gauges, reduces the subjectivity of manual measurement and produces traceable results.
GapGun Pro 2 is a high-precision 2D laser profilometer with a 0–60 mm range and accuracy of up to 20 µm. Its ultraviolet laser measures chrome and translucent surfaces, and it offers 8 hours of battery life.
GapGun 6 is the new generation of portable measurement. It features a 5" touchscreen, Wi-Fi, swappable batteries and audio and haptic feedback for use in production, with instant pass/fail results and export to CSV, SQL, XML, Excel and PDF.
Both devices use interchangeable T-Series sensor heads (T60-V, T15-V, T60-CK and T15-M) to suit each application.
