Powder coating lines

The powder paint application systems are primarily characterized by two features:
1) They are highly respectful of the environment. This is due to the fact that these types of facilities do not have significant VOC emissions and their high degree of recovery of the applied surplus paint. In specific cases and with special technologies, it is possible to recover up to 95% of the surplus paint.
2) Reduced energy consumption levels, despite the fact that in the immense majority of cases, temperatures of 180ºC are required to provide the activation energy required to start the polymerization reaction. Nevertheless at present, there are “low curing” powder
paints whose drying is around 150ºC and even Ultraviolet curing (UVA) systems.
