ZM310 Steel Coil

ZM310 steel is a zinc-aluminum-magnesium (ZM) alloy coated steel that offers superior corrosion protection, including the ability to self-heal cut edges. Its alloy, composed of approximately 93.5% zinc, 3.5% aluminum, and 3% magnesium, makes it ideal for aggressive environments such as those containing chlorides or ammonia, and its application is more efficient than traditional galvanizing.

Key Features

Corrosion Resistance: Offers at least three times greater protection than standard galvanizing under outdoor conditions.

Self-Healing: The alloy forms a protective layer that extends over cut edges, protecting areas exposed to corrosion.

Hardness: It has a higher surface hardness than conventional galvanizing, giving it greater resistance to abrasive wear. Versatility: It is suitable for a wide variety of applications, including construction, agriculture (silos, farms), and solar photovoltaics.
Components: The alloy is primarily composed of zinc (93.5%), aluminum (3.5%), and magnesium (3%).
Environmentally friendly: It uses less zinc than pure zinc coatings, which contributes to the conservation of natural resources.
Protection in aggressive environments: Its composition makes it very effective in environments with chlorides (swimming pools) or ammonia (farms).
