MEPSA: 40 YEARS OF HISTORY

MEPSA

Share:

Founded in 1983, MEPSA has fulfilled many of the challenges it has faced since the beginning. Today, with 40 years of history, this family business has managed to become an international benchmark in the field of automation of grinding, polishing, satin finishing, and deburring. Although the journey has not been easy, the key to success is very clear for the management: “A company is their customers, they are part of our evolution, without them this would not have been possible. Because we have grown together, progressing hand in hand. We are proud of being part of their trajectory, they feel the same.”

In the field of technological innovation, MEPSA has been a pioneer since the beginnings in the design and manufacture of numerical control machines, robotic cells, and special equipment for grinding, polishing and deburring metal parts and other materials in multiple sectors of the industry.

1985 First CNC polishing machine in the world with 5 programmable axes.
1986 First CNC polishing machine in the world with 6 programmable axes.
1989 World’s first rotary CNC grinding machine with six grinding units and a total of 30 programmable axes.
1994 First grinding cell with industrial robot. 1999 First CNC DUPLO polishing machine in the world.
2000 First multi-robot line for grinding and polishing. Five robots in line. 2010 First CNC TRIPLO polishing machine in the world.

At Mepsa we have been able to combine technology and adaptability to obtain customised equipment for specific needs.
Nowadays we are present in key strategic expansion markets in more than 38 countries thanks to the company’s internationalization and a solid commercial network. For us, the present is an excellent opportunity to continue offering the highest technological level and international coverage. The satisfaction of our customers is our main reference.
