HOENXWELD HW816H is a high-basic muti-purpose flux, suitable for multi-layer welding using ordinary and low-alloy steel welding rods, available for single arc and multiple arc welding. It could provide good low temperature impact propertities at -62C. It can carry large currents and operates well under alternating current and multiple arcs, has a good surface shape and easy slag removal It has good resistance to nitrogen stomata and excellent CTOD values.Typical Applications: Fabrication of offshore drilling platforms. Multiple pass welding. Single and multiple arc welding.
