Gravotech and CEP Plastics are organizing a webinar on laser engraving of plastic
The demand for laser technology for marking plastics has been growing in recent years due to its undeniable advantages over other identification and coding methods.
This webinar will discuss the different laser technologies available on the market and the marking results obtained depending on the type of plastic.
Gravotech, a laser equipment manufacturer with over 80 years of international experience, will present the technical results of a study conducted in collaboration with Polyvia (Union de Transformateurs de Polymeres). In this webinar, it will explain how different types of thermoplastics react when laser-enhanced using different technologies (fiber, hybrid, green, and CO2).
The webinar will also explain why laser marking on plastic materials is replacing current identification and traceability systems such as screen printing, pad printing, inkjet printing, adhesive labels, etc., and what its main advantages are.
Many sectors are beginning to use laser machines to produce permanent, contactless marking, for example, automotive, aerospace, electronic component, and consumer goods manufacturers, packaging, and more.
The Spanish Plastics Center (CEP) is organizing these workshops open to all companies wishing to deepen their knowledge of laser technology applied to plastics. The webinar is scheduled for June 6th at 10:00 a.m. and will last approximately one hour.
