New motorized Z-axis and Mini-inline: automation and safety in laser marking

The motorized Z-axis is the latest innovation in laser marking automation, designed to facilitate height adjustment of the marking head. This accessory allows motorized movement along the Z-axis, always ensuring the optimal focal distance to identify parts of different dimensions without manual intervention.

Equipped with a 7" touchscreen and integrated industrial software, the operator can intuitively control the head height, manage marking jobs, and monitor machine status. Furthermore, the motorized Z-axis communicates directly with the laser control unit, enabling autonomous operation synchronized with production processes.

To ensure easy integration into industrial environments, this accessory supports multiple interfaces, including Profinet, Ethernet/IP, RS232, and USB, and features a compact design, limit switches, and protection against dust and particles.

Combined with the Mini-Inline, a Class 1 laser protection nose, the solution offers a safe environment by isolating the laser beam and removing particles generated during the marking process. Thanks to this combination, precise markings can be performed in automated production environments, whether on a workbench, production line, or with cobots.
